Spring
Install
Spring installation commences once there is no ice remaining
on the Whitefish Chain. Please notify us at least two weeks in advance
of the date you would like your waterfront equipment installed.
If
you have a boat lift with a canopy please be sure to have your
metal straps, springs, ropes, S-hooks or bungee cords readily available
and accessible for our crew.
The
crew (run by and including the owners, Troy and Craig) works Monday through Friday
weekends are left open in order for us to meet with customers
and/or do repair work and follow-up.
Please
be advised that Waterfront Services does everything it can to get
your equipment in at your desired time; however, occasionally spring
weather does not cooperate with our schedules and desires. We can
never promise to get your equipment in at a specific
time, but we do our best to keep you a satisfied customer.
Fall
Removal
At the end of the boating season Waterfront Services passes through
the Whitefish Chain removing seasonal customers waterfront
equipment. If you have a boat lift, springs and straps are removed
from the canopy and the springs are then stored in a heavy-duty ziploc
bag (provided by WFS).
If
you have a canopy on your lift, it is WFS procedure to return
the canopy to our shop for cleaning and heated storage so it is clean and
readily available for the following spring installation.
Please
be advised that the deadline for fall removal is the second weekend of October.
